     William Hubbard Converse was born circa 1837 at ME. He was the son of John Harris Converse and Mary A. Conner. William Hubbard Converse married Sylvia Cole, daughter of George Warren Cole and Almira Sylvia Holcombe.

     Sylvia Mazie Converse was born at Galesburg, Knox Co., IL. She was the daughter of William Hubbard Converse and Sylvia Cole.

     John Harris Converse was the son of Dr. John Converse and Sally Hanson.

     Dr. John Converse was born on 5 March 1772 at Chesterfield, NH. He was the son of Samuel Davis Converse and Elizabeth Harris.

     Samuel Davis Converse was baptized on 17 February 1742. He was the son of Capt. Edward Converse and Mary Davis.² Samuel Davis Converse died in 1820 at South Worthington, MA.

     Tirzah Catlin was born on 28 February 1757.² She was the daughter of Capt. Joel Catlin and Sophia Holcombe. Tirzah Catlin married James Lankton in 1783. Tirzah Catlin died in 1798.

Tirzah was James Lankton's second wife.

     James Lankton was born in 1753. He married Tirzah Catlin, daughter of Capt. Joel Catlin and Sophia Holcombe, in 1783. James Lankton died in 1830.

     James Lankton married Maria Cox, daughter of William Cox and Mary Hoff. James Lankton was born in 1778. He was the son of James Lankton and Tirzah Catlin. James Lankton died in 1835.

     Maria Cox married James Lankton, son of James Lankton and Tirzah Catlin. Maria Cox was born in 1793. She was the daughter of William Cox and Mary Hoff. Maria Cox died in 1882.

     William enlisted as a private in Capt. James Dillon's company, 2nd New Jersey regiment commanded by Col. Israel Shreve. William Cox was born in 1758. He died in 1832.

     Mary Lankton was born in 1830. She was the daughter of James Lankton and Maria Cox. Mary Lankton married Harrison Halsted, son of John C. Halsted and Celicia Parsons, in 1848.

     Harrison Halsted was born in 1826. He was the son of John C. Halsted and Celicia Parsons. Harrison Halsted married Mary Lankton, daughter of James Lankton and Maria Cox, in 1848. Harrison Halsted died in 1876.

     John C. Halsted was born in 1806. He was the son of Stephen Halsted and Elizabeth Caller. John C. Halsted married Celicia Parsons in 1825. John C. Halsted died in 1868.

     Celicia Parsons was born in 1804. She married John C. Halsted, son of Stephen Halsted and Elizabeth Caller, in 1825. Celicia Parsons died in 1869.

     Celicia Maria Halsted was born at Elbridge, NY. She was the daughter of Harrison Halsted and Mary Lankton.

     Stephen enlisted at the age of twelve years in the Orange County New York, militia. Stephen Halsted was born in 1770 at Newburgh, NY. He was the son of Jacob Halsted and Rachel Smith. Stephen Halsted married Elizabeth Caller in 1798. Stephen Halsted died in 1855 at Elbirdge, NY.

     Elizabeth Caller was born in 1778. She married Stephen Halsted, son of Jacob Halsted and Rachel Smith, in 1798. Elizabeth Caller died in 1846.

     Jacob served as a private in the 2nd Orange County New York regiment of militia, commanded by Lieut. Col. Cooper. Jacob Halsted was born in 1730 at Orange Co., NY. He died in 1786.

     Emeline Minerva Pinney was born on 21 April 1808 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Butler Pinney and Eunice Griswold. Emeline Minerva Pinney married Henry Bright, son of John Bright and Elizabeth Brown, on 10 February 1835 at Northampton, MA.

     Henry Bright was the son of John Bright and Elizabeth Brown. Henry Bright married Emeline Minerva Pinney, daughter of Butler Pinney and Eunice Griswold, on 10 February 1835 at Northampton, MA.

     John served 1776 as a private in Capt. Phineas Stearn's company, which marched from Watertown to re-enforce the army at Dorchester Heights. John Bright was born in 1754 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA. He married Elizabeth Brown, daughter of Jonathan Brown and Esther Mason. John Bright died in 1840 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.

     Elizabeth Brown was the daughter of Jonathan Brown and Esther Mason. Elizabeth Brown married John Bright.

     Julia Sandford Bright was the daughter of Henry Bright and Emeline Minerva Pinney. Julia Sandford Bright married Lucius Clark, son of Hon. William Clark and Zeruah Cleveland.

     Lucius Clark was the son of Hon. William Clark and Zeruah Cleveland. Lucius Clark married Julia Sandford Bright, daughter of Henry Bright and Emeline Minerva Pinney.

     Edith Lucia Clark was born at Northampton, MA. She was the daughter of Lucius Clark and Julia Sandford Bright.

     Hon. William Clark was the son of William Clark and Jerusha Wright. Hon. William Clark married Zeruah Cleveland, daughter of Roswell Cleveland and Temperance Finney.

     Zeruah Cleveland was the daughter of Roswell Cleveland and Temperance Finney. Zeruah Cleveland married Hon. William Clark, son of William Clark and Jerusha Wright.

     William in 1780, at the age fo sixteen, enlisted from Northampton in Capt. Ebenezer Sheldon's company, Col. Seth Murray's regiment and served on the Hudson. William Clark was born in 1764 at Northampton, MA. He died in 1842 at Northampton, MA.

     Roswell was a private in teh Massachusetts militia. He applied from Cazanovia, NY, 1818, for a pension for one year's service. Roswell Cleveland was born in 1759. He married Temperance Finney. Roswell Cleveland died in 1848 at Manlins, NY.

     Temperance Finney married Roswell Cleveland.

     Jonathan was justice of the peace, town clerk, town treasurer, and representative from Watertown 1772 and 1786 inclusive; also commissary of military stores at Watertown 1775-6. Jonathan Brown was born in 1724 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA. He died at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA.

     Laura Eliza Dustan was the daughter of Frederick William Dustan and Helen Eliza Burnham. Laura Eliza Dustan married Byron Thompson Holcombe, son of Ephraim Holcombe and Mercy Hill.²

     Frederick William Dustan was the son of Daniel Dustan and Lucretia Matilda Crafts.

     Lucretia Matilda Crafts was the daughter of Ebenezer Crafts and Mehitable Chandler.

     Ebenezer served as captain in the revolutionary war, Connecticut service. Ebenezer Crafts was born in 1740 at Pomfret, CT. He died in 1810 at Craftsbury, VT.
